Perched on a hilltop in the village of Bashay (Karatu region), between Lake Manyara and the Ngorongoro Crater, Bashay Rift Lodge overlooks the majestic plains of the Rift Valley.
This unique vantage point offers spectacular panoramic views over the emblematic landscapes of northern Tanzania. Surrounded by coffee plantations and market gardens, the lodge lies at the heart of a fertile territory, living to the rhythm of the seasons and agricultural activities.

Bashay Rift Lodge cultivates a timeless elegance, with its colonial–style buildings nestling in lush gardens.
The bright, spacious rooms and cottages have been tastefully furnished with solid wood furniture, woven cotton linen and local handicrafts... Every detail tells a story. Some rooms have terraces with breathtaking views over the valley or surrounding hills.
In the evening, you fall asleep in a hushed atmosphere, lulled by the soothing sounds of nature, and in the morning, you wake up to one of the most beautiful landscapes in East Africa.
