Over the years Bashay Rift lodge has developed a real farm activity : Coffee plantation, vegetable and fruit garden (with Bio production), chicken house, hives (for a delicious coffee honey).
The farm provides quality & fresh products for the lodge and also supplies other MKSC properties
The view from our swimming pool is truly astonishing and our guests love spending a bit of time there after a dusty day in the bush

The Karatu region is also known for its special culture (Irak tribe), the coffee plantations and its rich & fertile land.
The main restaurant is elegant with a spectacular view up to Eyasi lake and it can accommodate up to 60 guests.
The pergola (overlooking the swimming pool) offers a smaller restaurant and usually serves traditional Tanzanian cuisine.
